Privacy Notice: SeptiCorp Septic Advisor
Effective date: October 13, 2026
This notice explains how Septicorp LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“SeptiCorp”, “we”), handles information when you use the SeptiCorp Septic Advisor at advisor.septicorp.com and our website at brevard.septicorp.com. Contact us about privacy at support@septicorp.com.
What we collect
- Your questions and the Advisor’s answers, including conversation history.
- Your email address, if you choose to continue past the free questions, along with access and sign-in status and question counts.
- Accountability records containing information about a question, the response and the governance process used to produce it, designed to support later integrity and accuracy review.
- Technical information (such as IP address, browser, device and request times) needed to run, secure and troubleshoot the service. Some is collected automatically by our hosting providers.
- Messages you send us.
Please do not include your name, street address, phone number, email address or other sensitive personal information in questions you submit to the Advisor.
How we use it
To answer your questions; to send access and sign-in emails; to send you septic information, follow-ups about your question and service-related messages; to enforce usage limits and prevent misuse; to review and improve the accuracy and safety of answers; to understand which septic topics homeowners ask about; to respond to your requests; and to meet legal obligations.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
- We don’t sell your email or share it with other businesses for their own marketing. Every non-essential email we send includes an easy way to unsubscribe.
- We don’t disclose your conversations to contractors or unrelated businesses for their own marketing or sales purposes. Service providers that help us operate the Advisor may process information on our behalf, as described below. Any future feature that connects you with a professional will ask for your clear approval before anything is shared.
AI and service providers
Answers are generated with the help of AI. Your questions and relevant text may be processed by service providers that support AI generation and information retrieval, including Anthropic and Voyage AI. Our service is hosted by Render, and access emails are sent through our email provider. These providers operate in the United States and may use their own subprocessors. We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a business transfer.
Website analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic. Plausible does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. It processes request information, including IP address and browser information, to produce aggregate statistics, and states that it does not store raw IP addresses or browser strings.
Retention
We keep questions, answers and their accountability records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, review accuracy, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Access links expire as stated in the email, but expiry doesn’t delete the related records. Some information may remain for a time in provider logs or backups.
Browser storage
The Advisor stores a sign-in token in your browser so it can recognize your access. Clearing the site’s data signs you out.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including single-use access links and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure.
Your choices
You may contact us at support@septicorp.com with questions or requests concerning access, correction or deletion of personal information. We will respond as required by applicable law. Certain accountability, security, backup or legal records may need to be retained to preserve their integrity or meet legal obligations. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children
The Advisor is not intended for anyone under 18.
Important
The Septic Advisor provides general education. It is not an on-site inspection, a diagnosis, professional or legal advice, or an official determination, and it is not for emergencies.
Changes
We’ll post any updates here with a new effective date, and we’ll give additional notice where a change materially expands how we use information you’ve already provided.
